I apologize in advance if I seem a little bitter today. I have been told some unpleasant news.

I spoke with my father just now. He came bearing letters and invitations for internships at the Office. After pressing upon me it would be a bad idea to accept one of them, he asked if I had made my decision about my work after graduation. Some of you may know the situation, others may not. The short story is: if I do not work for him as security, I will be disowned and removed from the Takamatsu family.

Today I told him I would never work for him, even in an afterlife.

It was not a good move on my part but I did not want to hear about it any longer. So, I would just like to tell you are that I am...no longer of that family.

Please do not worry for me, though. I merely wanted you to know why I might seem upset today and tomorrow. It has not really set in, yet.

It is all very unclear, is it not?

I am not sure what to do about these situations at this point, but the war that is happening amongst our peers is going a little too far. In my opinion. I do not know what it is we can do about it, and in all theory there is nothing we can do. We were not given these positions to be detectives and find the culprit nor were we hired to punish. We were made Resident Assistants to keep our peers safe.

But I am not settling well with doing nothing over the latest escapade which happened today.

At this time I have no suggestions for what we can do, which is why I speak to you now. Thoughts on the matter?




[[OOC: Alright~ Kei is pissed! But this isn't about Kei right now~ I'm just trying to clarify what's going to happen because I don't know! However, it's in my experience (a very similar situation happened earlier in the year here, and I am an RA) that the teachers take care of these things. Our school sent out HUGE e-mails about why it's wrong to slander a person in any public sort of fashion. Then we had to hold hall meetings (which are mandatory) and talk about everything they'd already said in the e-mail. It was a pain in the butt, though the situation hasn't happened again--doubtful the e-mail and meetings worked but at least the idiots that did it were inconvenienced.

Anyway. Are the professors going to do anything about this? <-- Main question, ignore the following if you don't care anymore than this~

It's not really the place for the RA's to take care of it. Strictly speaking, an RA is here to make sure the students stay safe and follow school policy and rules. They're not there to be police or anything like that. But that's a general RA, clearly the RA system in game works differently! Which is cool~ I like that the RA's in game have more control over what happens because they're heads of house and all that coolness.]]

I look forward to Sports Day, tomorrow. Everyone, do your best. A fair competition is always an exciting one. Please play with honor toward your house.

KENDO CLUB

Thank you, everyone, for another great meeting. Next weekend will be our final meet before our upcoming tournament. I am aware that I only briefly mentioned the tournament at the start of our meeting, last night, and so I will be giving you further details at our next meeting. You will be able to ask any questions there, or feel free to get something off of your chest here.

The prize is a secret. It will be revealed this Sunday at practice.

While I am disappointed in having lost in the tournament, congratulations Xiang-san. You were a terrific opponent.

Kyo-kun, we will have to spar sometime soon. It has been a while. I think you may have gone soft, hm?

I haven't written anything here in a while. I'm not much of a writer. Or a talker. I hope everyone is doing well.

Nana made me race her today. I don't know why. She always loses. But we ran. Then I got an itch to jog, so I changed and went out. I was gone for two hours. My father was furious. Apparently, he needed. I was very surprised.

I am not very fond of being hungry and having nothing to snack on, late at night. I have run out of my favorite crackers. I should have gone to the store sooner, but I thought I had more. Studying makes me hungry.

I am not concerned over the exams. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I will be more than willing to help you prepare. I urge everyone to seek assistance for even the small things, because those questions will make the difference in a pass or fail.

I wrote to my parents on Sunday telling them of Tetsutarou. They replied today. They were not impressed. They being my father. Still, I cannot send Tetsutarou away and they know this, so I will be keeping him regardless of their approval. It is a good thing I will not be spending much more time at their portion of the estate. I will likely be obtaining my own residency shortly after graduation. I am grateful.

Non-chan also likes Tetsutarou, which is good. I would not know what to do with him if she did not.

I could go for sushi. I hope they have some at dinner.

I'm not sure the sunrise has ever looked more beautiful than it did this morning. I was jogging over the hill and saw it. I stopped in awe and took a break for about five minutes. Was anyone else up to see it?

The news this week is very stirring, isn't it? I'm not sure I'm fully convinced that forcing muggleborn witches and wizards to register is going to lead to success, though one can't be sure. I have to wonder, for everyone's safety, would these records be kept as secret as possible? Should the information meant to protect people fall into the wrong hands, it could easily destroy them faster than it may have happened already. I feel concerned about this development. Blood-ties are only part of what makes a person behave so poorly, after all. It is the individuals choice, ultimately, to do "right" or "wrong." I'm sure many of our peers who are muggleborn or halfblooded would not do harm to their friends because of what runs through their veins. The same applies to purebloods, I believe. We should not be aiding in the start of a war, but stepping up to mistakes of the past in order to end a war. This cannot end well, I'm afraid.


I do hope Hattori-sama is returned home safely. My best wishes are in heart for him.

My parents took the news very well. I'm glad. Not that Nana helped any with the things she was trying to add. For now I'm glad Shoma they haven't said anything cruel or misjudged her when they haven't met her.

I'm finding classes this week to be interesting. I'm not looking forward to the test on Tai Sui, though I suppose twenty is better than all of them for the time being. I have looked ahead. There is much to remember.

I would like to disown a particular rumor here and now: Chinatsu-san is not trying to "steal" anyone. I am happy with Nozomi-chan.

This is a nightmare. It wasn't like this last year. We're supposed to be at peace, working with each other. So far the only work I've seen after the initial start of the week is choosing sides, fighting, and setting things on fire.

How are we supposed to represent unity if half of the students participating in the event are at war? Even the underclassman can see it. They're not blind. Why haven't our professors done anything? I think the festival should be put on hold until further notice. Our peers aren't ready to handle the pressure of such teamwork.

Though I wonder what triggered it. The comics? Such a foolish prank--I only wish the students who had taken fire to the pages hadn't.

I spoke with one of my residents who ripped up a comic. It almost made sense. I'm not sure all of the students understand what happened. It seems to me that some those involved in the destruction of the works were not aware of our particular opinions when it comes to destroying a name or a face.

We need to teach and share our views, not mar a person for making a mistake. That student had no idea they were committing a form of heresy.

I'm deeply sorry for the actions several of our house members have taken in the past 24-hours. They will be dealt with accordingly.
